What a wonderful spot! The Piggery feels like a home away from home, comfy and cosy and is well equipped for a short or long stay. Clare and Jon were fantastic hosts. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting out on the terrace by the duck pond for breakfast and evening drinks. Great walks from the doorstep and a good choice of lovely pubs and restaurants nearby. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic! Set in an idyllic location, the cottage is very well equipped and tastefully presented. Ideal for exploring the numerous public footpaths and the South Downs. Clare and Jon were the perfect hosts and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The patio and garden area is peaceful and private and makes for a perfect place to sit and relax. We really enjoyed our time at The Piggery and we we look forward to returning soon. Thanks guys for a wonderful time.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Close to the South Downs/Brighton Area, it was a perfect base for us to use whilst visiting family. The Piggery has been renovated to a really high standard. Clare and her family were so accommodating - always on hand for any questions. Would 100% recommend and I will not hesitate rebooking should I be staying in the area in future.

Luxury retreat nr Brighton 4G & hot tub

The Piggery at John Bulls House is a luxury single storey farm building recently converted by its owners. Set in a peaceful idyllic location surrounded by fields and ancient woodland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the foot of the South Downs National Park. The property has its own private garden overlooking a natural pond, York stone patio and an outdoor seating area with BBQ, fire pit and Scandinavian wood fired hot tub making it the perfect relaxing retreat for couples.

**Minimum 3 night stay. Prices range from £149 - £200 per night / £700 - £1000 per week. Discount for bookings for one month.**

The property comprises an open plan living area which incorporates oak beams and large glass bifold doors creating a light, modern and stylish space to relax and entertain. There is under floor heating throughout to ensure your stay, whatever the season, is comfortable and relaxing.  

Open Plan Sitting/Dining Room has quality natural stone flooring, dual aspect bi-fold doors leading out to a private patio overlooking a pond and private garden. Both bi-fold doors are fitted with floor to ceiling height Herringbone curtains (black out)you’re your privacy. There are two comfortable sofas, a coffee table, wall mounted TV with satellite channels, board games and a large dining table which could also be used for home working. 

Kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a Bosch electric oven, Bosch induction hob with extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine with dryer. There is plenty of worktop space, ample cupboard storage and it is well equipped for all your cooking needs. 

Master Bedroom: King size bed with a luxury Egyptian cotton mattress, bedside tables with reading lamps, large built-in wardrobe and drawers, plantation shutters and a black out blind, TV with satellite channels. Additionally there is a sofa bed which converts to a double bed so ideal as a family room. 

A Wet Room, adjacent to the Master Bedroom, is fully tiled with under floor heating, a large thermostatic drench shower head with additional hand held hose, washbasin and heated towel rail.

Garden: patio with seating area and private garden. In the summer months sun loungers and a BBQ are provided. A bench, fire pit and wood fired hot tub are situated in the garden overlooking the pond. 

Hot tub: traditional Scandinavian wood fired hot tub on the patio. This is eco-friendly and fresh water (no chemicals) which gives you a refreshing and natural experience. We also provide champagne glasses, dressing gowns and slippers for the true spa experience!

Parking: Private secure gravel driveway

Heating: Thermostatically controlled underfloor heating throughout.

*Additional accommodation* Kenny’s Hut, a luxury bespoke shepherds hut which sleeps 4, will be available in Autumn 2020 to book in conjunction with the Piggery. 

*Please note* this property is adjacent to a pond so this makes it unsuitable for young children. The owner’s runner ducks spend their day on the pond so we would prefer no dogs for their safety.
